From: Harriette Jensen Subject: HOISINGTON_MAILING_LIST - Additions and Corrections - MI Date: Fri, 24 Oct 1997 22:47:35 -0700 (PDT) A few things that I picked up from the MI info as I was inputting it: 1) The Margaret Hoisington who died in 1943 is possibly Margaret Seddon, who was the wife of William Francis Hoisington, who was listed as "Willie". (I bought Reunion for MAC last month and it's great! Let's you search by two variables, in this case first name=Margaret husband's last name=Hoisington. Works great for cemetery records and social security!) 2) The May Hoisington McDonald is actually Mary Annette "May" Hoisington McDonald. 3) Virginia Hoisington is Virginia Strawbridge, wife of William Francis Hoisington Jr. 4) Ignore the birth date for Clara June Peck (wife of Edwin J. Hoisington), as it's obviously wrong as it's later than their marriage date Harriette ====================================================================================== From: Harriette Jensen Subject: HOISINGTON_MAILING_LIST - From "History of Royalton, Vermont Date: Sat, 25 Oct 1997 09:07:33 -0700 (PDT) Hi, All. We've had several new members join us recently. I thought that now would be an appropriate time to list the instructions for getting back "issues" of the mailing list, as the archives contain much interesting information and a great many of the names that are in my database (along with birth and death dates, if known). It will also give newcomers a common base of knowledge and a starting point to ask questions. BTW, if you're new (relatively speaking) and haven't posted your lines, please do. We'd love to know how you're related. Harriette (BTW, I didn't write the instructions. Just substituted HOISINGTON in the following addresses) [NOTE: THIS MESSGE HAS BEEN TRUNCATED AS THEY REFER TO A PROCEDURE THAT IS NO LONGER VALID] ===================================================================================== From: Harriette Jensen Subject: HOISINGTON_MAILING_LIST - Ohio Land Patents Date: Tue, 28 Oct 1997 00:00:06 -0800 (PST) Hi, all.
